About Sure2Sleep® mattresses and Pillows

Do your mattresses contain any Latex?

Latex is not used in the construction of any Sure2Sleep® mattress.

How many mattress models do you offer?

We offer three mattress models, the Aspen, the Aspen Plush and the Monterey.  The Aspen is our most popular mattress designed with a medium firm feel.  The Aspen Plush is identical to the Aspen but offers a softer feel that many people like.  The Monterey is our value priced mattress designed with a medium firm feel.  Details concerning all our mattress models are available on their individual product pages.

What is the edge support feature on the Aspen and Aspen Plush mattresses about?

The Sure2Sleep® Aspen and Aspen Plush mattresses are one of a new generation of all foam mattresses.  When we were building our first prototypes, we noticed that when we sat on the edge of the mattress we tended to sink into the foam.  This issue can be best demonstrated when you sit on your sofa.  When you sit back on the cushions they are supportive and comfortable.  But when you sit on the edge of the cushion you bottom out on the sofa frame.  Sure2Sleep® addressed this by adding stiffer foam to the sides of their Aspen and Aspen Plush mattresses to provide added support.  This allows you to sleep near the edge of the bed without the edge collapsing.  It also makes it easier to get in and out of the mattress or just sit on the edge to get dressed in the morning.

What are the Sure2Sleep® mattresses and Pillows made of?

We manufacture all of our mattresses with high-density, high quality polyurethane foams.  All of our foams are made in the USA.  All foams are certified by CertiPur-US so they are free from known harmful chemicals and carcinogens, PDBE's, heavy metals, phthalates and formaldehyde.  The cover material is a blend of polyester and lycra®.

What foundation is needed under the Sure2Sleep® mattress?

You can place your mattress on the floor, a slatted base, a box spring, a platform bed or an adjustable frame.

How thick are the Sure2Sleep® mattresses?

Our mattresses are ten inches thick. We didn't increase the depth of the base layer just to claim we have a thicker mattress. In reality adding height to the base layer provides no difference in the comfort, support or stability of the mattress.

What is the foam density?

The density of the foam layers in the mattress is 1.8 pounds per cubic foot. The density on the Gel memory foam and HyPURGel™ is 3 Pounds per cubic foot.

Why is your pricing less than the other brands?

Most of the brands we compete against do not actually manufacture their mattresses.  Rather they have other companies manufacture their mattresses for them.  Someone else makes the foam, someone else fabricates it, someone else makes the cover, and then someone else assembles it.  At Sure2Sleep® we make everything except the outside fabric.  But we do cut and sew it into a mattress cover!

What are the benefits of your mattress over an innerspring mattress?

Innerspring mattress can vary greatly in quality.  The number and type of coils used will have a direct effect on the mattresses’ longevity.   What the coils are made of also matters.  Low-gauge wire and tempered steel coils last longer than high-gauge wire and non-tempered steel.  Then there is the comfort factor.   Innerspring mattresses do not contour well to individual body shapes and sizes.  This can be a problem with pressure point relief or for those suffering from back pain.  Coil springs also provide poor motion isolation making them a poor fit for the partners of light sleepers.  Finally, the springs can be noisy.   Foam mattresses, on the other hand, easily contour to the body providing great support.  They are also good for relieving pressure points.    Foam mattresses offer unequaled stability and they don’t bounce and transfer movement like mattresses with inner springs.  Some have criticized foam mattresses for having soft sides.  However, our Aspen and Aspen Plush mattress have enhanced side edge support to eliminate that problem.

Are your reviews real?

Yes, they are all from real customers.  The reviews are labeled verified when the person submitting the review was the one who actually purchased it.  There are also reviews of our mattresses on Amazon.  Most people have rated our mattress four or five stars.  There are some that were not happy for a variety of reasons.  That is what our 100-night sleep trial is all about.  If you decide you don’t like our mattress in the first 100 nights, we will pick it up and give you a complete refund.

What is the 100-night sleep trial about?

We offer a risk-free 100-night sleep trial for any Sure2Sleep® mattress.   Try our mattress in the comfort of your home for 100 nights, if you are not completely satisfied, we will take it back. You do not need to put the mattress back in the box.  We will pick up your mattress from your home and refund your full purchase price.   Your mattress will then be donated to a local charity or recycled.
